We were founded in the year 2000 as a Society
'… to encourage and promote interest in poetry of all sorts, including that of
Manx-based poets, and spoken word poetry.'

The entry window for the Poetry Trail 2026 closed on 1st December
Poetry in the Isle of Man: we run a Poetry PopIn Meeting monthly when we sit round together to read our poetry, and those of others. We celebrate World Poetry Day and National Poetry Day. We run a Poetry Trail Competition for adults and for young people and also run Open Mic sessions. Check out the events page for details of meetings and events.
