Welcome to the Isle of Man Poetry Society!
Where rhyming is optional, but good vibes are required!
We were founded in the year 2000 as a Society
'… to encourage and promote interest in poetry of all sorts, including that of Manx-based poets, and spoken word poetry.
We run a Poetry Pop-In meeting monthly, where we sit round a table together, eat cake and read our own poetry and the works of others! We also celebrate World and National Poetry Day, and run a Poetry Trail competition that all are welcome to enter. Alongside these, we host open mic events whenever we can!
